Don't get me wrong, though. Codependency is not something to be happy about. It's not something to ignore either. I know this.. I know it from personal experience. You see, from the time I was a teenager, I displayed codependent behaviors without fully understanding what it was. I've since abandoned many of those behaviors and I'm doing much better.
