Their interaction is mainly through what could be seen as a straightforward clinical interchange, where the therapists takes off his formal guise to come down to his teenager patient communiction level.
The family of Machito is included in the plot, and it exposes the social issues that most homosexual teenagers deal with in most of the world even today.
